Raissa Estrela, Ph.D. is a scientist expert in studying the atmospheres of planets beyond our solar system using space telescopes. Drawing on her expertise in exoplanets studies, she applies similar techniques to Earth, using space-based instruments to map pollutants, such as greenhouse gases and plastics.
